Relevantly Speaking | Christopher Smith of MediaTrust Labs

This week we’re chatting with Christopher Smith in our Santa Barbara office about the launch of MediaTrust Labs. What is it? What are the criteriea for lab projects? Listen as Christopher explains this exciting new venture from MediaTrust.

We’re also talking about Superbowl ads. Did those companies see a lift in revenue? How do you measure results on your marketing spend? If you’re tired of spending money on questionable results, maybe performance marketing is worth a look. Our own Julian Mossanen has written a step by step piece called “An Advertisers Guide to Working with Affiliate Networks.”

Great interview — thanks for letting us behind the scenes.

What are you guys looking at in mobile?

Thanks for your comment Norm. Glad you enjoyed the show.

I’ll let Christopher jump in and talk about what place mobile has in Labs today.

Norm, thanks for watching. As for what is in the Labs for mobile, we have a few ideas circulating, but it is less on the mobile delivery of campaigns, and more on the reporting features from our platform that could be accessed through mobile interfaces. As you may know, the performance marketing industry are not a 9-5 cube dwelling group of folks, and most times we want to see the performance metrics of our campaigns when we are away from our HQs. So high on my list is access to performance data that will help our clients make better decisions while mobile.

But here’s the best part about the Labs, and I encourage you to be the first one to help us out.

    WWND. What Would Norm Do?

I would love to know what you would like to see incubated in the Labs. Is there a particular feature or function of our platform (assuming of course you are a client) that you would like to have incubated? Is there something that made you go… If only I had that… that I should be adding to the white board and drawing up the plans for?

You can always post your comments here, or you can email me at labs at mediatrust dot com.
