Kevin Rose: 9 Ways to Increase Traffic
Kevin Rose is a smart guy. I don’t think anyone would dispute that. Smart guys get asked a lot of questions. Kevin says he gets asked many of the same questions on a regular basis and wanted to answer many of them in his presentation at FOWA (The Future of Web Apps London Conference).
The presentation is titled “9 Ways to Take Your Site from One to One Million Users.” The video is definitely worth watching, but if you want the bullet-point summary, Carsonified.com has a great breakdown.
Because performance marketing is about eyeballs converting into sales, this is very relevant to anyone that is looking at building traffic to a given destination. Highlights include: checking your ego, maintaining focus, poor estimation of user behavior, engaging with your community, and forecasting technical hurdles.
