Relevantly Speaking – August 5, 2009
In a few days we’re heading to Affiliate Summit East in New York. In addition to our table at the Meet Market (#33), I’ll also be speaking on the “Geekcast.fm Live!” panel on Tuesday at 3:15 PM.
We’re also covering a story that has been pushed back for a couple of weeks - “United Breaks Guitars.” With 4.6 million views on YouTube, you’ve probably already seen the video that musician Dave Carroll made after United Airlines broke his $3000 guitar and refused to provide any compensation. We take a more in-depth look at what this means for brands in the new world of social media where customers can push back.
